Final Project
This final project is about awareness to the ribbons. The first ribbon is awareness for AIDS, The middle photo is the purple ribbon for domestic violence. Then the third picture is for breast cancer. These subjects like AIDS, Cancer, and domestic violence can be hidden from the world. Just like tattoos and the naked body. We cover things up everyday to project the image we want people to see.

Then the bottom picture is the very back of the CD. Then on the back of my CD is a list of my work.

The Babysitter
The Babysitter
This picture is about a girl that was wondering around in the cage of a baby panther. She then finds herself underneath his spotlight. Will she make it out alive or does she find herself a new pet?

Surrealism Art Review
Traditional Surrealist: Joan Miro
"The Garden"
Joan was a Spanish painter and was the creator of the most original surrealist painting in the 20th century. Miro cited the vibrant colors of the Fauves, cubism, Catalan folk art and Romanesque frescoes of the Spain as his influences.
In terms of the title with the and the actually painting. A person is able to get the understanding the garden that is in front of them. This painting was made by oil on canvas. I personally like all the colors that are used within the painting. Your eyes are attached to the different parts of the painting and the viewer is able to follow it really nicely. I think the meaning of the this painting is, everything doesn't have to be normal. Take the ordinary and make it the unusual.

Digital Surrealist: Amrei Dizon
"Love, Lust, Scrutiny"
This is about a woman's fear to come out and accept her sexuality. She exudes gayness but she fears the many eyes that haunt her. She dreads scrutiny, but doesn't realize that the haunting eyes are just a product of her paranoia. According to the artist's statement.
I really like how the artist used both pencil/paper and digital graphics. Also I can agree with the artist statement. From first looking at the image I thought about women and their insecurities. How woman feel judged everyday if they do not look a certain way. But in the world today a woman had to come into her own and own her body.

My College Career
I have been in college for five years. This just shows the progression from freshman to senior year. In the back you can tell (as a student) I am now experiencing senioritis. Then the person that is raising their hand in the back is ready to go home/graduate.
